August marks the opening of Tony Award-winning Urinetown, a musical by Greg Kotis and Mark Hollmann that takes place in the not-so-distant future and takes a satirical look at capitalism, corporate greed and the consequences of apathy.  A terrible water shortage and 20-year drought has led to a government ban on private toilets leaving only paid public toilets operated by the corrupt Urine Good Company (UGC). Eventually we see a revolution to let the people "pee for free."

Performances are August 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21 at 7:30pm and August 15 and 22 at 2:30pm.
