PROP DONATIONS

We love that you have considered donating set/show props to CST, but our storage space is extremely limited! We ask that patrons who wish to donate items to our props department reach out to us via email at commercestreettheater@gmail.com before bringing items to the theater. If you have prop items you’d like to donate, please reference these handy guidelines before contacting the theater:

What We Do Not Need:

Lamps

Luggage

Linens/decorative pillows

Coffee Makers/Pots

Books

Paintings/Wall Art

Telephones

Dishes and Glassware.

As far as furniture pieces for sets, we ask that you send a photo and/or the item’s measurements, as we have very little space to store furniture or rugs, but would consider unique or period pieces individually.

We rarely have to hunt for set items that can be found in most homes today. However we are always on the hunt for time-specific items that are no longer easy to access (think old radios, turntables, records, newspapers or magazines, children’s toys, etc… maybe something left from your grandparents’ time?) And of course any odd or “fad” items that are unique or no longer made.
