A Streetcar Named Desire is a Pulitzer Prize winning dramatic work by acclaimed playwright Tennessee Williams. It tells the story of Blanche DuBois, a refined, delicate woman from a wealthy Southern family, who arrives in New Orleans to stay with her sister, Stella and her rough, working-class husband, Stanley Kowalski. Haunted by her past, Blanche's fragile facade crumbles under Stanley's harsh reality and she progressively loses her grip on reality. Set in 1947 New Orleans, A Streetcar Named Desire highlights the clash between a fading aristocratic lifestyle and the brutal realities of the working class.  This production is not suitable for young children.
